Well, now that you're here, I suppose I should properly introduce myself. I'm Jocelyn, and this is my fancy schmancy website full of pictures of me looking put together.* I promise you, I normally don't. Just ask my husband. I'm sure nobody wants to see photos of me in my sweatpants or covered in dirt and chalk after a hard workout... so you get the prettied up version.
As a certified personal trainer and serious nutrition nerd, helping you to find the right solutions to your health and fitness needs isn't just a job for me... it's my passion. My motto is to "Be an athlete" because I think that everyone has an athlete inside of them whether they know it or not. Our bodies were meant to move and be active, but sometimes getting started or discovering what you enjoy doing can be difficult.
I specialize in web-based training and nutrition coaching, providing you with a unique approach to helping you reach your specific goals. You might be just starting out and have no idea what the heck to eat or what a deadlift is... that's okay! We'll get you there! Maybe you are a seasoned athlete but you've just lost your motivation and need some "accountability" (Oh yeah, I've been there!) in which case I can be your partner to help you get jazzed up about training and reaching for those goals again.

Each person is different and my customized approach, tailored to individual needs, allows us to work together to create achievable goals that are based on your lifestyle and physicality.
Regardless of your goals, my philosophy is simple; Health and fitness doesn't need to be complicated. In fact, I like to remind people to "Keep It Simple, Stupid", or KISS for short. You don't need to eat nothing but kale and do hours of workouts that make you want to poke your own eye out... so why would you? Getting fit and healthy can and SHOULD be enjoyable, otherwise what is the point?
